3. List 3-5 characteristics of each work.
4. Describe each composition.
Features of a Stylistic/Comparative Analysis
1. Who was the artist? Who commissioned it? What does it depict?
2. How is this work different from other works of the same subject matter?
3. How have the conventions (formal elements) for this type of work changed over time?

2. What materials were used to create the object? What is the importance of materials used?
3. What colors and textures did the artist employ?
4. How do these functions together to give the object its overall aesthetic look?
