Fatima is an emergency responder who is called to help when a woman collapses in the grocery store. When she arrives, a bystander is leaning in closely, attempting to hear what the woman says as she is on the ground. Just as Fatima sits down to begin her assessment, she notes that the patient has sneezed in the bystander's face. As Fatima begins to assess the patient, she realizes that the patient is showing signs of a contagious virus. After EMTs leave to take the patient to the hospital, Fatima mentions to the bystander that she might need to see her doctor in case she contracted the virus. She knows that it could breach her patient's confidentiality even to have this conversation, but Fatima is worried that the bystander might become ill and continue to pass along the virus.
