Carefully examine the child's engagement with the art materials and art creation processes. Write your interpretation of the child's artworks in one page. Cite the course readings. The images are not included in the one-page limit. You may take notes of the following in your interpretation:

i. What art materials were offered to the child. Think carefully about each medium (ex., paint, brush, papers, etc),

ii. What can or cannot the child do with those materials? What are the possibilities and limitations of them? Focus on the works that child has created rather than their skills.
