You are to define a peer-reviewed journalarticle in your own words based on your findings on the web.  In your definition, include a description of the review process that someone interested in undergraduate research publishing will find useful.

Criteria:1)    Select a specific journal and provide a reference.

2)    What is the scope of the journal (topics, what kind of research, etc)?

3)    What is the target audience?

4)    What are the top rules that must be met?

You will need to reference an example article and use appropriate citation (APA style see below).

Role:               Undergraduate who must find a peer-reviewed article

Audience:      Other ODU undergraduates who are majoring in the biological sciences and interested in publishing their findings.

Format:           One paragraph definition (max 1 page)

Topic:             Define a peer-reviewed journal/article

Your definition should be one paragraph (no longer than 1 page).  It should be single-spaced, 1 inch margins, Times New Roman font, 12 point font. No title page needed. Just your name on top.

Your assignment is due by the date listed on your syllabus.  It must be submitted via Blackboard.
