Re: Annual Performance Review
I have a rather troublesome question to ask you. I would ask it of my boss but she is currently in the hospital. Fro the last 23 years I have received an overall performance review, and my evaluations have all shown that I am an excellent employee. I am six years from retirement and, frankly, I have reached the point where performance evaluations aren't of any consequence to me. I know I am doing a good job. I know I won'[t get promoted or transferred, and I am at the to0p of my pay grade. So why should I continue to be evaluated formally?
A) What are the problems that might be behind the situation? Where you believe there is more than one issue please address each of them. Discuss why you think those problems are present.
B) Considering Procedural Justice, which rule(s) might have been violated in the situation? Why do you think so?
C) What are the remedies that your team believes will solve the problems? Remember, some of the same solutions might be helpful for several email situations. In any case, EXPLAIN WHY do you think those solutions will work?
Use the trait evaluation methods
Please assume that all emails represent legitimate situations and are not the result of a problem employee.
