You are a manager of an IHOP in the outskirts of a city and have a few dozen front-of-house staff that you manage. One day you receive a complaint from one of the servers (Shanda) reporting that they believe the host has repeatedly sat tables in their section towards the end of the shift while allowing other servers to complete their side-work and leave on time at the end of their shift. Shanda feels that it is because she is a person of color and the host is showing favoritism towards the other staff who are White.
