However, there are some factors that should, and should not be considered when looking for the proper placement for a child with special needs. The following factors should be considered when determining an appropriate place for students with special needs (Morin, n.d.) :
A. What are the needs of the student? Can they be in an inclusive classroom or do they need to be in a smaller group or work one to one?
B. what goals are on their IEP?
