1. Sharing knowledge between different levels within the organization is a vital way to improve patient care and performance of the organization over all. Sharing information and knowledge with another is a great way to learn fAccording to "Health Informatics Is Helping Organizations Share Knowledge"(n.d.), "When communication is improved, providers and other members of the staff have a better idea of what is going on in different areas of healthcare and can plan their own actions accordingly." In the dental office I manage, we often find ourselves in a front office versus dental assistants battle with the common misunderstanding of what each others tasks and responsibilities are. I often times have to have the front office walk through the back to see what goes into their day and I have a dental assistant come to the front to see what all goes into our day. This allows them to see both sides of the picture versus just one sided. This helps them to come together to collaborate on new ways of working that can be better for them as well as our patients and can then result in the organization being overall more efficient and effective because of their team work and sharing of ideas and knowledge.
