Evolution is key for the success of any organization at any given time - but, there are many organizations who do not wish to or simply resist evolving. In my experience, I have been exposed to so many different organizations who just refuse to grow and evolve because they are in their comfort zone and refuse to leave that zone. An example where I see a lot of organizations struggling with evolution is around Information Technology and Social Media. About 5-years ago I never thought I would be writing policies around Information Technology and Social Media - yet I am. This is an example of how an organization needs to evolve - the problem we face is that whenever new policies and processes need to be built, some organizations rather not venture to avoid new headaches.
