Water is pumped from a lake at ambient pressure and temperatur to an elevaltion of 15 m through a pipe of 2-cm diameter galvanized iron at a flow rate of 0.00366 m^3/s. Assume the discharge is to open atmosphere. The pipe is 70 m long and has 2- 90o threaded bend and one 45o regular elbow, and a gate valve that is half closed.
