A block of mass m1=1.6kg moving to the right with a speed of 4m/s on a friction less horizontal track collides with a spring attached to a mass M2=2.1 kg moving to the left with a speed of 2.5m/s. The spring has a spring constant of 600N/M and instant when M1 is moving to the right with a speed of 3m/s.

Determine:

A). The velocity of M2 at that instant

B). The compression of the spring in this case.

C). The velocity of M1 and compression of the spring at the instant that M2 is at rest.
