The ball A is moving with constant velocity of 2 m/s and hits ball B. The ball B and C are at rest and they are connected with an unreformed spring with k= 100 N/m. All three balls are identical with 200 kg mass. Assume the impact between A and B is perfectly elastic. Determine

a) Velocity and acceleration of the common center of mass of balls B and C right after impact.

b) Velocity and acceleration of the center of mass of all three balls right after impact.

c) Deformation of spring when ball B comes to rest.

d) Maximum deformation of spring.

Hint: Maximum deformation of spring happens when the relative velocities of B and C with respect to their center of mass are zero.
