In his backyard, Robert is erecting a new fence. What he will accomplish and how long it will take are described below:

Setting the posts in concrete takes one day and can start after the new holes are drilled and after Bill delivers his list of materials. Building and installing the panels and gate takes one day and can start after the poles are set in concrete. After the panels and gate are installed, it takes one day for Bill and John to clean up their mess, and they start after the gate is installed. At the same time, Robert begins painting the fence. He is done after three days, and the job is completed.
