Find public places (such as a mall, grocery store, an airport, a restaurant, or a hotel) in which you can unobtrusively observe people at work. Identify workers who are performing rather simple, specialized tasks respectively. Write down what you see these workers doing. Then, think of ways in which each job could be either enlarged to make it more interesting and motivating.
