This assignment requires you to reflect on your learning from the module in order to explain the importance of a reflective approach to learning and the value of formative feedback to inform and improve summative assessed work.
This assignment has been designed to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your achievement of the following module learning outcomes:

OVERVIEW
This assignment will encourage students to apply the learning from the Ddule to a topic and will be submitted in the form of an essay.
Part 1 - Essay (1,500 words) - 50%
Topic:
Discuss the importance of reflective approach to learning in the accounting & finance discipline, demonstrate the roles of feedback and feedforward to achieve success and inform and improve formative and summative assessed work now and for the future.
The guidance below sets out the requirements of the task and a suggested structure for the essay.
Introduction (150 words) your introduction should state the topic sentence, aim of the essay, definition of reflective learning and other key concepts and outline the contents of the essay which should include relevant model of reflection, reflective approach to feedback and feedforward and how this can inform and improve formative and summative assessments.
First body paragraph (400 words) should describe reflection and reflective approach to learning, using a relevant model of reflection (e.g., Gibbs, 1988)
Second body paragraph (400 words) should describe the nature of feedback and feedforward, and the use of your chosen model for demonstrating the effectiveness of feedback and feedforward in the study of accounting and finance.
Third body paragraph (400 words) should describe how a reflective approach to feedback and feedforward can inform and improve future formative and summative assessments in the accounting and finance discipline.
Conclusion (150 words) your conclusion should link back to the aim of the essay and briefly restate your main points in addition to your final thought or reflection on the significance of the topic.

This assignment task requires you to demonstrate an understanding of what you have learnt from the module in relation to the cultural and behavioural expectations of studying for a degree in business management and the importance of peer-to-peer support and team working to enhance learning experience. The task also requires a demonstration of how this learning will impact further studies and your future career, and how you will practise and apply what you have learnt, in addition to a personal audit presented as a SWOT analysis.

A portfolio of documents that demonstrate personal learning in the accounting & finance discipline from the cultural and behavioural aspects and how the learning can be enhanced through peer to peer support and team working.
You are advised to use the template provided below.
E-Portfolio
You are required to produce an E-portfolio of Five documents (word format) which will demonstrate your learning from the module in relation to:
i. The cultural and behavioural expectations of studying for a degree in accounting and finance.
ii. The importance of peer-to-peer support and team working to enhance learning experience.
iii. How this learning (in i and ii) will impact further studies and your future career.
iv. How you will practise and apply what you have learnt; and
v. A personal audit presented as a SWOT analysis
You must reference all information used in the report, using the Harvard Referencing Guide.
