Purpose This assessment will allow students to demonstrate the understanding of basic concepts of user requirement gathering and evaluating interfaces from a user design perspective. The goal of user interface evaluations is to make products and services more usable, easy to learn and intuitive for the user. This assessment contributes to learning outcome b.

Task details:

There are a lot of methods that you can use to gain a deeper understanding of how your users think and interact with interfaces. This will help you design focusing on UX. Your task as a UX designer is to conduct user experience research for a company of your choice (Food, shoes, homeware, gardening, hardware, banking, travel agency, real-estate, furniture store, etc.). Select and confirm with your teacher. Research how companies determine what their customers and users want and need. You can either choose Observation and Interviews or Surveys. Create a questionnaire for your chosen method. For a particular user group, create a Persona document. Now, create a User Journey which focuses on the user interactions, feelings, and thoughts while the user performs a specific task.
