Two bodies with temperature-independent heat capacities Chot and Ccold are used as reservoirs (with temperatures Thot and Tcold respectively) for a Carnot heat engine. (This differs from the situation discussed in class where the reservoirs were assumed to have infinite heat capacities and therefore always remained at the same temperature.) Derive an expression for the total work obtainable.
