The pressure in a tire depends on the temperature of the air in the tire. The gage pressure of an automobile tire with a volume of 0.025 m3 is measured to be 210 kPa at 25 oC at sea level on a day with calm weather. If the temperature of the air in the tire drops to 10oC: a. What is the (absolute) pressure (in kPa) inside the tire at 10 °C? b. How much air (in kg) needs to be added to restore the pressure to a gage pressure of 210 kPa?
