John has worked with Spanner Works Manufacturing for 10 years. He understands almost everything there is to know about the production process and he was recently promoted to Supervisor of a team with ten members. Eight of these members have also been with the company for many years and two of them are relatively new. He has been tasked by his new manager to figure out how to get more production out of this team as they have had a reputation of not meeting their goals in a timely manner. Production has meetings every morning and he is keen to move this team from being seen as the laggards to being the team who can win awards. He needs to determine what roles people should play and how he can motivate them to think of themselves differently.
