Question: In the 19th century the prevailing theory of inheritance was the BLENDING THEORY. According to this theory of inheritance, crosses between individuals of differing phenotypes would produce F1 progeny with a phenotype midway between those of the parents, the midparent value. Subsequent crosses among progeny would, of course, produce many generations of individuals with the midparent genotype/phenotype. Mendel's work refuted the blending theory, and the critical observation was.a. dominance of one phenotype over another, i.e. dominants and recessives.b. the fact the Pisum sativum true breeding lines were available.c. the fact that P. sativum has only six chromosome pairs and he studied 7 characters.d. the fact that the recessive phenotype reappeared in the F2 generation.e. the fact that the recessive phenotype was not seen in the F1 generation.
Discuss how does the genetic variation differ in "Parent" beakers and the respective derivative beakers? Meaning was the gene pool different in either Beaker #1 or Beaker #2 compared to the parent population?

Biochemists make stock solutions of reagents and use them to make working concentrations of buffers. Explain how to construct these stock solutions. You decide on the final volumes and show your calculations
In garden peas, grey seed coat color is dominant to white seed coat color. In the following cross, the phenotypes of the parents and offspring are known, but the genotypes are unknown.

The study of Biology may seem overwhelming at times due to the complexity and diversity of life. However, Biologists utilize some methods intended to improve organization and ease communication about living organisms.
Defects in structures of cell can lead to various diseases. Pick one structure of eukaryotic cell and develop a hypothesis as to what you think implications would be if that structure did not function properly and determine where is genetic material ..
Describe the way epidemiologist calculate the frequency of cases when it comes to prevelence and incidence. Then discuss some of the major sources of disease tranmission.
In some cases the first gene in the linear sequence appears to be transcribed at a much higher rate than the second and subsequent genes (as in many but not all mRNAs contain the sequences encoded by gene 2 and beyond).
Both endocrine and nervous systems are major regulating system of the body; though, nervous system has been compared to an airmail delivery system and the endocrine system to the pony express. In brief explain this comparison.
