We want to model the force of river water o some bridge support columns with a scale model in a wind tunnel. The actual colums are 5m diameter and have 10m underwater, and the river velocity is 0.8m/s. The wind tunnel model is 1/10 the size of the actual column. What should the wind tunnel velocity be, in m/s? Is this an air velocity that will be esay to achieve?
