The Simple Pendulum lab

Description: use the period of the simple pendulum to calculate the gravitational constant g and compare your results to the known value.

Materials:
-Stop watch
-String (and a ruler to measure its length)
-Mass
-Three different weights (fishing weights) or something equivalent
