The ocean of the world covers three-quarters of the earth's surface and have an average depth of 3.8 km. If the temperature of the ocean were to rise by only 1.0 K due to global warming, how much would sea -level rise if one assumes that the surface area of the oceans does not increase appreciably(i.e. volume is area time depth).
