The objective of this assignment is to assess students' understanding on the roles official actors and unofficial actors as stakeholders in public policy making knowledge on policy implementation approaches.

REQUIREMENTS

In policy making, the official actors consists of the legislature, executive, administrative agencies and judiciary, where the unofficial actors who also play important roles in the policy making process.

These unofficial actors mobilise themselves and are motivated to address specific issues affecting the community or groups.

Policy implementation is a process by which policies enacted by government are put into effect by the relevant agencies.

Based on the above statement:

i. Discuss the major unofficial actors involved in public policy making and their respective roles in these endeavors.

ii. Analyse the need by the official actors in public policy making. iii. By using suitable examples, discuss the approaches used in public policy implementation.
