Slips of the tongue provide a valuable window into the processes involved in language production. They are also closely related to the action slips examined in Chapter 7 of your course text, Cognitive Psychology. For this discussion:

Describe at least three categories of speech errors, giving an example of each.

Discuss the explanations given for these types of speech errors.

Give an example or two of such speech errors you have experienced in your life and explain why you think they happened.
