Premise 1: Social media is good for a company, as well as connecting with family and friends. Nevertheless, excessive use of social media could hinder interpersonal relationships.

Premise 2: Social media can only be effective in moderate use, the world has become dependent on social media and the internet, the disconnection between personal relationships come from excessive use of social media.

Premise 3: Overuse of social media can disengage the average person from personally socializing with others face to face.

Conclusion: The effect of social media is a hindrance, because of the extreme use and their disconnection with personal human connections.
