We expect that you apply the data science skills learned in Weeks 1 to 5 of this unit.

All your data analyses and/or data visualisations must be done in Python; you will not receive any marks using any other tool, such as Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel must not be used apart from gaining the initial understanding of the provided datasets.

To make this assessment as authentic to the real-world data science projects as possible, note that the project Objective is intentionally presented as a high-level, open-ended requirement. This not only allows a diversity of approaches to tackling the problem but also tests your team's ability to solve the problem independently (rather than being told exactly what to do). Although a demonstration of in- depth technical understanding of the domain problem (as given in the Project and Data Brief) is not a requirement to pass this assessment, gaining some understanding of the problem domain will help you succeed in this assessment.
