The teachers are each given a test of racial bias that rates their attitudes toward the different ethnic groups, and their scores on this test are compared to the scores of how often they call on children of the different groups. There is no advance hypothesis about how this will come out as it is an exploratory study to see if there is any relationship between the teachers' racial bias and their attention to students.
