What is an ePortfolio?
In this week, you will build a personal electronic portfolio or "ePortfolio." An ePortfolio is a purposeful digital collection of artifacts created by a student that includes course-related work and professional achievements, such as papers, certificates, presentations, posters, photographs, videos, and so on. An ePortfolio can also include other aspects of a student's life, for instance, volunteer experiences, employment history, extracurricular activities, and more. You will complete your ePortfolio in MHA690. Once you graduate, it can be used to demonstrate your skills and competencies to potential employers and the professional community.
Your ePortfolio will be developed and hosted using Folio, the ePortfolio tool the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) uses. As an UAGC student, not only will you have access to Folio during your time at UAGC, but you will retain lifetime unlimited access after leaving the university without fees or capacity limit.
