Question: Using the social media audit attached and the Philadelphia Inquirer: The analysis report asks you to analyze your findings, look for overall trends, and make general recommendations using best practices. Said another way, diagnose your chosen organization or brand's social media use. Where are they doing well, what can they improve, and why (using best practices)?
An Analysis Report is NOT an academic paper. Instead, it's an analytic report, similar to a research brief, written in report style, as if you were submitting this to the organization's executive team.
Your report should be 4-5 pages and include the following sections:
(1) Purpose
Summarize the organization/brand and why you selected it. Include the purpose of conducting a social media audit in the first place (include course readings and information as support).
(2) Summary of data.
Summarize the descriptive data. You have lots and lots of details. Now you need to review and condense it so that it's useful for the organization's leaders. Briefly describe the organization's presence on each platform. You can use a chart or table to summarize: (1) reach, number, and times of posts (2) content type by platform, (3) audience engagement and sentiment, and (4) the brand's return engagement. Note similarities and differences across the platforms.
For example (just a starting point...):
"Over 10 content days, Starbucks posted an average of 4 times across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X. They averaged 1,100 likes for any given post. Followers were most engaged on Instagram (as measured by number of likes and shares). Starbucks' returned engagement most often on Twitter/X...."
(3) Strongest and weakest platform
Using your audit data and best practices, assess which platform presence is the strongest for your organization. Then, share which platform presence is the weakest for your organization. Include screenshots so you can visually show examples. Provide credibility by incorporating sources to support your strongest/weakest platform evaluation.
(4) Best Content Practice
Using your audit data and best practices, evaluate the organization's content. Which type of content are they using extremely well and why? Include screenshots so you can visually show what is working well. Provide credibility by incorporating sources when discussing how the organization is meeting best practice guidelines.
Worst Content Practice
Using your audit data and best practices, which content type is the organization using poorly and why? Include screenshots to show evidence of "worst" content. Provide credibility by incorporating sources when discussing why this content goes again best practice guidelines.
Overall Evaluation
Conclude with an general evaluation, noting overall social media performance for the organization/brand. This last part is like a "grade" or a scorecard. (e.g., "Based on best practices, Starbucks earns a B for their social media performance. While their language and types of content are inline with Starbucks mission, they miss key points of engagement with infrequent content. The brand could easily improve engagement by doing XYZ. Starbucks competitors do ABC...")
Writing and Organization
Present your ideas clearly. Use section headings, paragraphs within sections, and clear, concise language
Present your credibility by citing using APA 7 and include a reference page that also follows APA 7
Present your ideas clearly and professionally. Avoid spelling, typos, grammar snafus. Proofread and proofread again! Read aloud, read sentence-by-sentence from the end to the beginning.
Create a five slide powerpoint presentation of the complete audit using compelling images: owerPoint presentation that shares your audit analysis with your peers (via the Discussion Board).
The content mirrors the report but should be adapted for an oral presentation. Include 5 slides with images:

Worst Content Practice (include screenshots of bad examples)
Overall evaluation (like a grade "A, B, C" or 7.5/10, etc.)
