Robert, a six-year-old boy, has been struggling with misbehavior at school, including fighting, kicking, and running in the halls. He also has difficulty completing assignments and staying focused and requires constant reminders to get his work done and stay on task. Robert's classmates find his interruptions annoying, but he is able to concentrate and finish his work when given one-on-one attention from a student teacher. After a comprehensive evaluation that involved input from the school, surveys, and observations, Robert was diagnosed with ADHD.
