Written Report - Change Management Plan
Scenario - Refer to the scenario used for the Video Project.
Activity - This is an individual assessment and each student is a Change Manager tasked with effectively delivering the organisational change scenario covered in Day 5.
Each student will be responsible for delivering an A3 poster that is a change management 'plan on a page'. Using the stakeholder videos delivered in Day 5, you will be required to conduct a stakeholder analysis, develop a business impact assessment and come up with a change strategy.
Change Managers may need to consider:
What steps are necessary to execute the change (consider 'as-is' vs 'to-be').
The sequencing and timing of the change.
The tools and techniques required to deliver the change.
Stakeholder engagement and communication management strategies.
How to build commitment to the change and help the organisation to adapt.
Change resistance and how it could be overcome.
The organisational change agents and the organisation's capacity to change.
Staff support systems, training and other requirements.
As all the information will need to fit on an A3 poster, is it critical that the plans are clear and succinct. Students are encouraged to use diagrams and other visual aids to convey important information.
