##### Reference no: EM13650063

One block (m1= 250g) is on a smooth table and connected to amassless string. The string continues over a massless, frictionless, pulley and down towards another block (m2=50.0g) thathangs from the table at the other end of the same string. What is the magnitude of the acceleration of the block on the table. The answer is 1.63 m/s^2... I can't seem to solve this.

The tensionforce in the rope is equal to 85 N. There is a coefficient offriction between the box and the floor of 0.64. What is the minimun volume of the balloon : A helium balloon lifts a basket and cargo weighing 1500. N understandard conditions. What is the minimun volume of the balloon? Use1.29 kg/m3 for density of air and 0.178 kg/m3 for density of helium. Smooth table and connected to amassless string : One block (m1= 250g) is on a smooth table and connected to amassless string. The string continues over a massless, frictionless, pulley and down towards another block (m2=50.0g) thathangs from the table at the other end of the same string. Radius of smallest possible circle on which object can move : A small 0.500-kg object moves on a frictionless horizontal table in a circular path of radius 1.00 m. The angular speed is 6.28 rad/s. The object is attached to a string of negligible mass that passes through a small hole in the table at the cente.. Their directions relative to the positivedirection of the x axis are 30°, 193°, and318°, respectively. What is the shearing stress on each rivet when it fails : Two strips of brass, each 4.00 cm wide and 55.0 cm long, are placed with their endsoverlapping by 1.00 cm. The overlapping ends are then rivetedtogether by four rivets, each with diameter 0.500 cm. Magnitude of the torque due to weight and thrust : The figure shows a jet engine suspended beneath the wing of an airplane. The weight of the engine is 13200 N and acts asshown in the figure.
