Consider the coded system examined in Computer Example 11.1. Show that the probability of three symbol errors in a code word is negligible compared to the probability of two symbol errors in a code word for SNRs above a certain level.

Consider a random experiment with 16 equally likely outcomes. The information associated with each outcome is
