First Assignment question:

Should Congress pass the President's cybersecurity proposal? In the subject line put "yes" or "no" and your name. Try to argue absolutely yes or no. It's hard to do but a good exercise!

Provide an example from a current event (maybe an important cybersecurity breach that could be prevented by policy?) to illustrate your answer. Also, include a point or two from your Rosati and Scott text to support your answer.

Remember to read your texts, watch any videos in Lessons, and read any other materials in Week Three Lessons. Include those ideas in your discussions.

Also, feel free to include a link to a website or a journal article to share with your classmates in the follow ups.

Please review the week 6 simulation instructions and situation located in the lessons. On this forum, please indicate which entity you'd like to represent.

This is not necessarily the same as the state you're focusing on in this course for the remaining forums and assignments, although you could choose the same state for both. First come, first served!

Please begin researching information about your entity as soon as possible. Simulations are demanding assignments and being prepared will make a big difference for you during week 6.
