As you have seen in the movie and in your readings this week, women are more likely to vote than men yet despite progress in the 2018, 2020 and 2022 elections, women are underrepresented in our political system as leaders. Although this movie is from 2012, many of the issues the movie speaks of still affect women and men in the U.S. today. The movie makes the case that media images of women play a role in this problem.
