In the world we live, people must have a gun for safety reasons but most of the people do not believe in having a gun is the right choice. However, having a gun provided home and self-defense protection needs against a criminal or a burglar (Lott & Wenner, 2018). About 74% of criminals avoid breaking into a house knowing the owner is at home due to the majority of the people have a gun in their home (Lott & Wenner, 2018). The federal law states people can carry a firearm outside their home with a permit. Nowadays, criminals get guns and used them to commit crimes based on Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) agent Jay Watchel roughly mention that about 10% to 15% of guns that are used in a crime are being used many times to commit another crime (Lott & Wenner, 2018). For that situation, guns should be allowed in America every day someone dies as a result of guns. For example, the mass shooting that had occurred in the United States due to guns (Lott & Wenner, 2018). People always blame the criminal for the commercial of guns, but the government also have the blame for traded illegally and out of nowhere the government lost the record of the guns (the guns gets to the wrong hand) (Lott & Wenner, 2018). The government knows guns should be approved, and safety is the priority for everyone. For instance, people can fire their gun under a mass shooting to save innocent lives. Guns are not the problem for our society, people are the problem who can't control their actions (Lott & Wenner,2018). Having a gun does not always mean we have to use it, it sends a message or a warning to the person when we are in a threatening situation by expressing we are going to fire (Lott & Wenner, 2018). According to agent Jay watchel, most of the police officers who have been working for the department for a long period haven't had the opportunity to use their gun in a criminal activity (Lott & Wenner,2018). Guns have to govern better and should not be ban for everyone, only for the ones who can use them wrongfully.
