You work in a community centre as the community development officer and have noticed that there are a large number of your clients who are struggling with relationship breakdowns. Many of these break downs have been and continue to involve high conflict. Parents are reporting that their children are not coping and they don't know what to do.
Scenario Two
You work in a local health service and have noticed that there are a large number of your families who are struggling with Bereavement and loss. They all appear isolated and have limited social supports. Your role in the health service is in the generic social work team and you are thinking of starting a group.
Scenario Three
You are a community development officer in the local council and notice that there is a lack of play spaces and activities in which families can engage in active play. You have also noted that the childhood obesity rates in your area are increasing.
Scenario Four
You are a social worker in a public school and find that there are a high number of parents and teachers coming to you for support with regards to children with Autism. You also notice that there are no supports for families with a child with Autism in your local council area.
Using the case scenario supplied or one of your own choosing; complete the expression of interest for funding application. As part of the application, you will need to complete a literature review to gain evidence for the need of the project or group you are proposing. (1000 words)
