Step II: Develop a 3-part Report that accomplished the following tasks:

I. Reveal the TOPIC you have chosen for your Informative speech.

Write a short paragraph telling me (i) why you have chosen this topic; (ii) why you are qualified to speak about the topic

II. Reveal the TARGET AUDIENCE for your speech.

Who are you aiming your message at? Why do you think that a modern audience needs to know about this topic?

III. Write the THESIS for your speech.

The Thesis is the main message that you hope to communicate in your speech. Your thesis should complete this sentence --

"At the end of my speech I want the audience to understand that....

IV. Develop your supporting material -- BIBLIOGRAPHY

List three resources (websites, articles, books) that you have consulted and that you will use in your speech. Make sure that I can access the website or resource if I choose to follow up.
