Question: A three-page research paper will be assigned later in the semester and will be due on April 25, 2023. The research paper will review a specific topic in Geology and Earth Science using primary literature found on google scholar. The topic of the research paper can be on any subject related to earth science.

The paper must include a cover sheet, abstract, introduction, background (e.g., geological setting if applicable), main body of paper, conclusions, references cited, and two to three figures with figure text. The cover sheet (with title and authors name), abstract, figures, and references cited should be separate from the three pages of text. The topic you choose for the research paper and the reason you chose it must be outlined in a short 250-word research proposal. All papers must be in 12-point Times New Roman Font and double spaced. Each subsection should be given a clear heading.

For this specific assignment, I just need the 250 word research proposal. It can be on any subject of your choosing related to Earth Science.
