There are two Assignments due this unit. Complete the chapter reading for "Careers in Information Technology." Consider what you wrote in the discussion and include new information about certifications that you learned will help you in the career. Indicate the career that you will be using for this assignment. Identify at least two certifications and explain what they are for and how they will help in your chosen career. Do not copy from your posts, however.

Conduct research for several job openings in the career you chose for your initial discussion board post. Do they require an advanced degree? If so, in what? Do they require certifications? If so, which ones? Do they require experience? If so, how much?

Lastly, identify and explain three to five (3-5) steps you can take while earning your degree to help enhance your resume to meet these qualifications once you graduate.
