Each student is expected to write a summary on the topic identified in the weekly assignment. This assignment is intended to encourage further research and understanding of the course topic. Research papers must include an article from a peer reviewed scholarly journal.

Each article must have the following components:

  • Critical thinking of the relevant issues and perspectives surrounding this topic.
  • Compare and contrast various scholars' perspectives and recommendations with regard to weekly research topics
  • Describe proponents and the reasons cited for the advancement of relevant concepts
  • Describe opponents and the reasons cited for the avoidance of relevant concepts
  • Provide critical thinking with your own perspective and experiences related to these concepts
  • 4-5 double-spaced pages
  • 5+ citations
  • Written in a coherent prose style, NOT a list of disconnected bullet points. It is important to have an introduction outlining the purpose of the paper and setting the tone for the paper, as well as a conclusion pulling the information together. Use of headers in APA format is expected.
  • Use clear academic English, and proofread your work before submitting.
  • Include cover page in standard HRM program format
