Respond- Stem cell research is when scientists take a cell form one part of someone's body and manipulates it to help regrown different organs and helps with other sickness as well. There have been arguments that scientist will use the embryos of cells that were left over from when someone that would go through IVF it would not be the cell that injection to the women but what was left over and not used. Also when talking about deontology it is a theory that states it about moral duty specifically the action does not matter the consequence even it is bad its about if th4e action produces good in the moment and following through with that action. When applying deontology to this scenario it would say that no matter the outcome it is good to use the stem cell for treatment because its about saving the lives of those patients. From the little research I have done I believe that stem cell medication could be a great thing if it truly works could be the future of medicine. I agree with it on stand point of manipulating cells of an adult in my opinion using the cells of embryos is.
