Regarding eating disorders, it has been argued that preventive interventions in a-stitch-in-time-saves-nine manner can be helpful in dealing with eating disorders of young people. What approaches would you recommend in dealing with preventive intervention involving adolescent girls? Please explain your answer, and explain some extra precautions you would take in effecting such therapy with girls, in order to ensure that such therapy would “stick.” I.e., that it would remain effective on a long-term basis.
