• Include a screenshot or copy of the job advertisement
• Explain:
o why this role aligns with your career direction

Section 3. Professional online presence
Choose ONE option.
Option A. LinkedIn professional profile
You will create or update a LinkedIn profile that presents you as an emerging community services professional.
Section 4. Evidence of capability from your degree
Select two artefacts from your Bachelor of Community Services that demonstrate your professional capability. Examples include:
• assessment excerpts
• placement or volunteer work
• projects, reports, or presentations
For each artefact (150 words explanation for each):
• briefly describe the artefact
• explain:
o the skills demonstrated
o how these skills apply to professional community services practice
The artefacts themselves are not included in the word count.
Section 5. Transition and Future Planning Reflection
In this section, you will reflect on your transition to professional practice now and in the future. You will use theory to plan your career and professional wellbeing.
You must use Schlossberg's Transition Framework in this section. This is an academic reflection. It is also practical. You are planning how you will work, live, and stay well as a community services professional.
You must:
• apply Schlossberg's Transition Framework
• identify strengths and challenges in your transition
• identify supports you need
• explain strategies you will use
• focus on planning, not description only
You will write about three time periods:
The first year of professional practice
Two to three years into your career
Around five years into your career
For each time period, write about the areas below.
Professional role
• What job or role you are in or aiming for
• What kind of practitioner you are becoming
Work setting
• Where you are working
• Type of organisation
• Work conditions affecting you, such as contracts, visas, or working across services
Self and wellbeing
• How you manage stress
• How you look after your mental and physical wellbeing
• How your confidence changes over time
Support
• Supervision you receive or need
• Mentors, colleagues, or peer support
• How you use feedback to improve
Strategies
• How you manage challenges and change
• How you continue learning and developing
• How you plan to stay in the profession long term
You must clearly link your reflection to Schlossberg's four areas:
Situation
Self
Support
Strategies
Show how these change across time. Write clearly. Be realistic. This section shows how prepared you are for professional practice and long-term work in the community services field.
