Question

There are opioid like compounds in Raphe nuclei and locus coeruleus that have receptors for opioids to manage pain. Ingestion of these opioids modulates pain transmission in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord. Which nociceptor's presynaptic terminals will be directly inhibited by the pain killers?
