Main objectives of the Assessment
This assignment has been designed to assess the multiple skills and knowledge of the students which was gained through the classroom based learning and independent learning. These skills include but not specific to Communication, Speaking, Listening, Presenting, Critical thinking, ability to work under pressure and to deadline, Planning and organisation skills, and Time Management Place Your Order Now!
Presentation
The presentations will be based on a short case study. There are two case studies and you can choose one. The studies are listed below:
Well-Done-Clean Case Study, Recent Construction Case Study, you need to CHOOSE ONE for your presentation.
1. The presentations will be face-to-face and will take place in weeks 12-14, during seminar time.
2. A maximum of 10 presentation slides and these should include 'slide 1: Introduction' and slide 10: 'Conclusion'.
Note: A good presentation should include the application of knowledge.

Assignment: Case Study 1
The "Well-Done-Clean Ltd" is a small for window cleaning established in 2010 and currently employs ten employees in various positions, including drivers, cleaners, and office staff. Well-Done-Clean is based in Ealing, but the company has been running losses since 2019 due to the rising cost of living, the effects of COVID-19, and poor management. Last week, the company was given the ultimatum of 4 months to register for bankruptcy if things do not change.
On Monday, the owner of the business called in a management consultancy company, and four problems were identified;
Employees do not know what they are doing in the business
- Think about the meaning of management (use material covered in Week 3).
There is a fundamental lack of skills required in this industry
Think about what HR managers can do. (use material covered in Week 2)
Think about the purpose of this business
Use principles of management covered in Week 4, choose one core principle and justify whether you think that approach will be suitable for Well- Done-Clean.
The company is spending too much on marketing.
Act as a consultancy - investigate and solve the problem (see Week 8).
You can also do a SWOT analysis to find a problem (see Week 6)
Explore the 4Ps of the marketing mix (see Week 9) to see if these can adjust the overspending issue.
Lack of clear business strategy - Consider a business strategy suitable for Well- Done-Clean, and justify your argument (see Week 5).
Today, you have been appointed as a Consultant for Well-Done-Clean. Your first task is to develop management concepts and principles, including business strategy, as soon as possible and present these to the owner of the business in January 2024.

"Recent Construction Material" is a small construction company that supplies pavement material to wealthy clients and the wealthy elite (celebrities). The company was established in 2015 and currently employs twenty employees in various positions, including drivers, constructors, and office staff. Recent Construction Material is located in Windsor and has another office in the West Ealing Area after closing another office in Chelsea in 2019. Recent Construction Material has been running losses since 2019 due to the rising cost of living, the effects of COVID-19, and poor management. Last week, the company was given the ultimatum of 3 months to register for bankruptcy if things do not change.
Yesterday, the owner of the business called in a management consultancy company, and four problems were identified;
Employees do not know what they are doing in the business
