Read the definitions and descriptions of subcultures (also called co-cultures) and counter-cultures , do some research to find a co-culture or counter-culture you'd be interested in learning more about.
After compiling your research, write about your chosen co-culture or counter-culture.
this should reference at least three course concepts.
For example, to address one concept, you might explain the unusually high power distance within a particular counter-culture.
You may choose to highlight:
the culture's history
members of the cultural group
some of the group's cultural values
some characteristics, practices, or major events
Your goal is to inform your classmates about a culture they may be unfamiliar with, and to practice applying course concepts to real cultures
