Rawls' two principles are liberty and equality. He says that two principles are very much important in the judicial system as well as in the constitution of a step. According to her all the citizens of a state should have the liberty to get justice and they should have the liberty to work and do religion. All people should have equal liberty and they should have the liberty of speech and work and movement. Rawls, it is said that government must ensure the interests of citizens as free and equal citizens. But he does not see the restrictions of freedom. There must be restrictions on freedom and one's freedom should not hurt others. If freedom is absolutely granted then it would restrict others' freedom and it would be like a kind of bondage and torture to others.

What do you make of Rawls' two principles? Do you think they really would result in a just society were they to be properly followed? Do you think Rawls has improved on Hobbes, or is Hobbes still superior? What sorts of objections can you rise against Rawls?
