Question

A 664-turn circular-loop coil 11.2 cm in diameter is initially aligned so that its axis is parallel to Earth's magnetic field. In 3.77 ms the coil is flipped so that its axis is perpendicular to Earth's magnetic field.

If the average voltage of 0.214 V is thereby induced in the coil, what is value of Earth's magnetic field at that location?

Answer in units of µT

When coil of a motor is rotating at highest speed, the current in the windings is 6.1 A. When motor is first turned on, the current in the winding is 13 A and the voltageis 114 V.

Find out the resistance of the windings.

Answer in units of Ω

Find out the back emf of the coil at maximum speed.
